Rebuilding a 3D printer for Surrey and Hampshire Makerspace. CNC controller has been replace with a Duet2 board with build in stepper motor drivers. Other upgrades include a new extruder and power supply, bearings and lead screws.

To plan the upgrades a 3D model of each component was crated and a virtual assembly produced to allow different changes to be tested before modifying the actual machine.
